let me share some of place around Medan, where I ever visit it, maybe is not as good as other country but can to be information mah......
Sipiso-piso is one of recreation place in Medan, this is a narrow waterfall in karo. It is 45 minute by car from brastagi
waterfall is definitely majestic. From here are stairs leading up to the viewpoint. You can bath below the fall. The water is clean and nice, but has passed through villages before the fall so do not drink it.

Tongging is the vicinity of sipiso-piso waterfall. Tou can see the blue-green hills and the magnificient lake toba in the distance.

when i saw the waterfall, i recall last time when i visit there, i visit a place like this also, but i remember we are more nearer to the waterfall... some more can feel the water
